Architect
Overview
As an architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present design proposals and plans to clients
- Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to clients
- Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of proposed projects and gather information on site conditions
- Create detailed drawings, models, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards
- Collaborate with other professionals, including engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and construction techniques
- Ensure that projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Manage and supervise junior architects and other staff members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
- Professional license to practice architecture
- Proven experience as an architect, with a portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary
$98,850-$102,440 per year
